Thank You and Safe Returns

Thunder 6, Thank you for all you have done my friend.

You and your men have accomplished great things and the losses you have personally endured could not help but change the man; but you my friend are not just changed you have matured even further than possible for a mere man to have matured. Your sense of being is evident in all you do and write, and I know that no matter what you do in your life back home it will be as great as the deeds you have accomplished in Iraq. You are right the story of your mission there is not a tragedy rather it is an epic that shall be repeated by those that follow you and by those of us back home that will continue to support and comfort all who help defend freedom where ever the call may lead us, for you have helped free 50 million people from the yoke of tyranny.

Now that your time there is ending THANK YOU for all that you have done and will yet do for this great nation and the people of Iraq. Have a safe journey home and I hope that one day we will be able to meet as friends, at which time I will buy you a much deserved beer and shake the hand of a true hero.
