In his speech yesterday in Jakarta Indonesia Iranian President Ahmadinejad said that Israel is a 'Tyrannical Regime'. I don’t even know where to begin with how false this statement is. Israel has done only one thing; protect itself from Islamic Fanatics that seek to completely and utterly destroy their country and people. Israel like the United States goes out of its way to reduce the collateral damage of its strikes against Hamas and the other Islamic Jihadists that seek Israel’s destruction.
This appears to be more a matter of projection than anything else. Let’s review; Iran in the name of Islamic values routinely hangs gays while Israel does not and is condemned by the world body for being to aggressive against human rights. Iranian Irshad (guidance) Patrols regularly, slash the faces of women with razor blades if they are wearing “too much” lipstick, they splash acid on the faces of women if they are wearing “too much” make-up, they smack women on the head if their scarf is “too short” and then they can either cover their entire hair or the patrol will “gently cut their hair off.” Yet in Israel women hold positions of power in industry as well as government and still Israel is considered the land of Satan by the international community.
If Ahmadinejad’s comments are a simple case of projection what are the actions and comments of the rest of the world as they relate to Israel? Is the world truly a bunch of anti-Semites that can’t stand Jews in a country of their own where they doing only what President Ahmadinjad says Iran is doing, “defending their rights as a country?”
In my mind it’s a simple concept, the world hates Israel for succeeding without their help, and the Islamists hate Israel because they are Jews. What I don’t understand is how the Western World can defend the actions of the Islamists and condemn Israel, when Israel is the West’s only true friend in the world.
The Islamists are only using the Western Worlds lack of resolve and their insistence on Political Correctness to their advantage. If you honestly believe that the Islamists want us as friends and not slaves then I suggest you read what Cassandra wrote the other day about how they treat their enemies. And might I remind you their enemy is anyone that will not convert to Islam.
Recently, Islamist sent out teams of assassins to kill cartoonists! Cartoonists! Are you listening people they are going to kill and behead Cartoonists simply because they drew a picture of Mohammed their prophet. When artists and cartoonist draw pictures of Jesus and God Christians and Jews say it isn’t respectful but we don’t go out and kill the person for doing it.
President Ahmadinejad like the rest of the Islamists are stuck in the 7th Century with 21st Century weapons, and that combination not the US military actions in Iraq or Afghanistan are going to cause the world to erupt into chaos. If you are so blinded by your hatred of America that you can’t see this for the truth that it is, you are a lost cause and by default are no better then the Islamists we are fighting.
