Patrol Saves Woman’s Life In Southeast Baghdad

BAGHDAD – A patrol from Troop C, 1st Squadron, 14th Cavalry Regiment rendered medical assistance to a severely wounded Iraqi woman in the Karb neighborhood of southeastern Baghdad Jan. 10.

During an afternoon patrol, the woman was found with a gunshot wound to the neck. The Soldiers immediately rendered life-saving medical assistance and evacuated her to the nearest medical facility.

The young woman, a school teacher in the neighborhood, was listed in stable condition.
