The Thunder Run, fast becoming the single source for information and Good News around the web and out of Iraq, Afghanistan and all things GWOT, typically does not publish on weekends, especially today since I am installing a new bar in my basement. However, I am planning on publishing an original piece this weekend. A re-reading of The Scarlet Pimpernel has given me a renewed insight into the anti-war, anti-American left and I need to get those thoughts on paper before they fly away.
Please look around and stop in on the one of the Web Reconnaissance posts, there is one for every weekday so scrolling through the archives will make it easier, since only recently have they been labeled with an appropriate tag.
Thanks for stopping by and please come back often as the content changes regularly.
When you are done here, go visit Cassandra, she writes a wonderful piece about the war that asks the perfect question:
"The war has been a pastiche of heartbreak and hope, of tears and embraces. Whom do you believe? David Ignatius at his keyboard, or Mohammed in Baghdad? Jack Murtha, or David Petraeus?
Your choice. Hope, or despair. Prevarification, or Purpose?"
