AR RUTBAH — The Governor of Al Anbar Province met with Rutbah City Council members on Thursday to discuss issues vital to improving the quality of life in the city.
Gov. Ma’moun and his Provincial Council members addressed topics concerning the critical infrastructure of power, water, fuel, education, sanitation, security and health care requirements in the city.
Alwani was accompanied by the Director Generals of Education, Electricity, a Provincial Council representative and Brig. Gen. John Allen, deputy commanding general of coalition forces in Al Anbar.
"We [15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capability)] did our part to make this meeting happen and this is the local government taking the lead in solving the problems of the city” said Col. Brian D. Beaudreault, commanding officer, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable)/Task Force Bullrush.
