House Rejects Iraq Bill That Would Require Withdrawal

HR 2237, a bill before the House requiring that troops begin re-deploying from Iraq within 2 months failed to pass this afternoon during a House vote in which 2 Republican’s once again voted for defeat.

At this time a roll-call of the vote is not available, as soon as it becomes available I will post it.

UPDATE 1831 hours: I incorrectly noted the number of the bill. The bill is not HR 2206 but HR 2237, I have edited the original posting to reflect the correct bill.
