He Want's to Go Where?

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has been denied a request to visit the World Trade Center site of the September 11 attacks, New York police said on Wednesday. Ahmadinejad, who regularly accuses the United States of arrogance in his speeches, had asked to visit the site while in New York for the United Nations General Assembly this month.

And while the NYPD will still have their say the Islamic Republic News Agency still says Ahmadinejad is going to defile Ground Zero:
Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is to visit the site of the World Trade Center in New York to pay homage to the victims of the September 11 terrorist attacks in 2001.
According to a source in the president’s office, the US authorities are expected to make arrangements for the president to pay tribute to the American nation and the innocent victims of the event. (source)
LGF reports further reports that the National Press Club will welcome their second most favorite "World Leader" for a little question and answer period, where he will undoubtedly take the opportunity to bash the US, while he visits the US:
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will speak and take questions at the National Press Club’s first- ever videoconference luncheon at noon on Monday, Sept. 24.
Ahmadinejad will appear in the NPC Ballroom in Washington via videolink from New York, where he will be attending the UN General Assembly. After Ahmadinejad’s speech, NPC President Jerry Zremski will ask questions handed up from the audience for a minimum of a half-hour.

Cox and Forkum weigh in on what Condi Rice and the rest of Foggy Bottom should say to Ahmadinejad:
