Memorial fund for Captain Letendre

The other day we learned about Captain Letendre USMC who died in combat on May 3rd, 2006. The letter from his friend and fellow Marine CWO Jason Forgash, entitled Brother in Arms was highlighted on Blackfive.

Yesterday Mr. Robert Stokely responded to my email about Captain Letendre by sending Blackfive and I an email expressing his thoughts and condolences to Captain Letendre’s fellow Marines and family.

Today we learn via email that Pam of Iraq War Today and Soldier’s Angels are setting up a tribute page and PayPal link to help the La Habra Police Association Board open an account to assist the family. She writes:

“I'm in touch with Jason and his wife - Soldiers' Angels is going to help set up a tribute page and PayPal link in order to assist with donations to the fund. I'll let you know when everything is set up.

Thank you for taking the lead on this and helping our community help one of those brave men and women that we support in their selfless duty. Your duty is as tireless and selfless as any soldier you support and you should be commended.
