BAGHDAD – Coalition Forces captured the suspected leader of a murder and kidnapping cell during operations Dec. 25 near Baghdad. The suspect is allegedly responsible for the kidnapping of an Iraqi Army soldier as well as the kidnapping and murder of other Iraqi civilians in the area.

During operations, Coalition Forces detained four additional persons for questioning.

There was minimal damage done to objective. There were no Iraqi civilian or Coalition Forces casualties.
