SANA’A, Yemen – Two U.S. Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal technicians recently taught 15 Yemeni Counterterrorism Unit soldiers basic breaching techniques using explosives.
The two-day course, which is helping build the capacity of allies and partners to disrupt and attack terrorist networks, is one of the most recent examples of military-to-military training spearheaded by the Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa.
The first day of training was classroom instruction and familiarization with the tools used to effectively breach doors and walls.
