Calling Jack Murtha

H/T: CJ

J. D. Pendry pens a must read. If you've ever wondered about the true intentions of the war protestors then read on. We know that the anti-war movement speaks in glowing terms about the ideal of peace and would have you believe that they are against all war because it is horrible and uncivilized, but they are truly only interested in weakening America. How do we know this?

Pendry points out what has been so painfully obvious from the start:

The Russians invaded the sovereign nation of Georgia, a free country with a democratically elected government. Where in the hell are Cindy Sheehan, Code Pink, Congress and 99 percent of Hollywood? Code Pink is probably still standing on the streets in front of Walter Reed Army Medical Center harassing wounded American Warriors and their families. The remainder is probably too busy admiring the great show put on by the communist Chinese.

The Russians only shot up a few journalists during Vlad’s great adventure. This female Georgian reporter, these Turkish reporters, and this Jewish one. This fine example of a professional military was also filmed robbing a bank and stealing United States military equipment from the port.

I am curious. Senator Dick Durbin, is this conduct reminiscent of the “Nazis, Soviets in their gulags, or some mad regime — Pol Pot or others — that had no concern for human beings?” Congressman Jack Murtha, is there anything here that angers you? Do you reckon “they killed innocent civilians in cold blood?” They certainly tried it appears. Senator John Kerry, it looks to me like Vlad Putin’s fine communist soldiers “randomly shot at civilians, [and] razed villages in fashion reminiscent of Genghis Khan….” What do you think? Do you reckon they are “terrorizing kids and children, you know, women?” Speaker Nancy Pelosi, is this Putin’s war? Are you going to demand that “He has to answer for his war?” Declare that “He has dug a hole so deep he can’t even see the light on this?” Will you say, “It’s a tragedy? It’s a stark blunder?” Or are these displays of courage and characterizations that you reserve for America, American Soldiers, and your own President? (READ MORE)

Keep it up J. D. we need more people to hear the truth.

The Twists of Times Square

A man is questioned after sending letters to 100 members of Congress bearing the words "Happy New Year, We Did It.". The lengthy anti-war letters — which arrived with photos of a man standing in front of the recruiting office before it was damaged — contained no threats and authorities for some reason think it is completely unrelated to the bombing.

Oy Vey!

Homeland Security is on top of it folks: “Nothing to see here, move along, go home.” It’s almost like watching Leslie Neilsen reprise his role in the “Naked Gun” series.

Meanwhile the left continues to squirm that this is not the kind of image they want to present…kind of hard when they’ve willing accepted the militant Marxist into their midst. And still the left is on the move against military recruiters - Code Pink is planning a non-stop blockade of the Berkeley Ca USMC recruiting station, and is even asking for volunteers to come by and join their side, there is even a breastfeeding day!

Anarchists in NYC are all a twitter over the bombing of the station, with commenter Ann R. Key at NYC Indymedia writing: “
WE DID IT!!!!!! Not one person was harmed. Only property. Kudos on a perfect action!”
Well Ann, I’m glad to see that you approve of bombing buildings to prove a point…you have just become a terrorists! Don’t worry though the Keystone Kops won’t do anything at all.

Just to remind us all…this is the face of the “peace movement”…

… any questions? [All photos from Zombietime.com]

Meanwhile Michelle Malkin takes a long look at the history of the left’s attack on recruiting stations and military recruiters.

Has the Anti-War Crowd Gone Too Far?

Police officers, one of them in a hazardous-materials suit, examined the military recruiting station in Times Square after an explosion damaged the front of the building early Thursday morning. (Photo: Chip East/Reuters)

This morning at about 3:40 am an explosion occurred outside a very successful recruiting station in Times Square NYC. While no report seems to link the current escalation of force by the anti-war / peace movement I will. First we saw Code-Pink in Berkeley, CA swarm around and set up a continual protest against the USMC. Then we have crowds invading a recruiting station in Washington DC. Now…a bombing of a recruiting station in NYC.

The New York Times describes the event thusly:

Blast Damages Times Square Recruiting Station The New York City police just issued a statement describing the source of the explosion as an “improvised explosive device” and putting the time of the blast at 3:43 a.m. Subways and traffic are running normally through Times Square.

At first glance, the explosion seemed reminiscent, in its effects and timing, of two earlier blasts. At about 3:40 a.m. on Oct. 26, 2007, two dummy hand grenades that had been fashioned into crude bombs exploded outside the Mexican Consulate at 27 East 39th Street in Murray Hill, shattering windows. The building was not occupied and no one was hurt. At 3:55 a.m. on May 5, 2005, two crude but powerful explosive devices detonated outside the British Consulate at 845 Third Avenue in East Midtown, shattering windows and damaging a planter.

Just after 6:45 a.m., a handful of law enforcement officers knelt at the foundation of the recruiting station, smashing the carpet of glass shards with long-handled mallets. Two men in hazardous-materials suits stood above them, among more than a dozen
investigators from the city’s Police and Fire Departments, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. Police vans and squad cars ringed the scene, with clusters of detectives on street corners, paging through notebooks and talking on cellphones.

And while a spokesperson for Homeland Security wouldn’t comment on whether this explosion was related to terrorism the act in itself was a terror attack…an attack in my opinion against those very people who defend us against terror, the U.S. Military.

The left is already in a tizzy over the event worried that it’s going to cause a backlash against them. In the words of Kos Diarist Cool Blue Reason:

“Inevitably, we're going to start hearing about "left-wing terrorism" from the usual suspects in the media. And I'm guessing the drumbeat is going to be especially loud in this political environment.”

And you know what CBR, you are absolutely correct. Do you want to know why, the reason is because you are more than happy to surround your self and associate with those who openly hate and attack those who defend us. You support groups like Code Pink and MoveOn.org who call our soldier’s baby killers and murderers. You clap when “students” swarm and destroy recruiting stations and you support world leaders who actively call for the destruction of the very country that defends your right to do so.

Is this event going to be used to attack the left? You’re damn right its going to be used to attack the left, because the left has allowed and even welcomed the militant anti-American into their ranks, and you deserve all of the bad press that goes along with it.

How unhinged is the left over this they are even indicating that it was a right-wing attack against the recruiting station in order to drum up support to oppose the left. Can it get any crazier in the reality based community?

Berkeley and now D.C.!

On Valentine's Day while most of America complained and blasted Berkely for their assinine actions against a Marine Recruitment Office, terror supporters in Washington D.C. occupied and vandalized a recruiting station at 14th and L Street in downtown Washington D.C. while police stood by and watched!
Funk the War storms, trashes 14th and L military recuiter [This work is in the public domain]

At the peak of the second"Funk the War" dance party/protest, the entire group swarmed the military recruiter at 14th st, with about half the group getting inside and the rest securing the entry and plastering windows with stickers.

After many previous protests had found the 14th st recruiter "closed" at 5PM, Funk the War found them open, and the door unlocked at nearer to 6Pm and promptly exploited the situation by demonstrating to them first hand how an occupying force behaves.

After a loud commotion inside while outnumbered cops watched, recruiters finally managed to get protesters to leave-but not before literature and full-body length cardboard displays in the street window area were destroyed. In addition, hundreds more "Funk the War" stickers were plastered all over just about everything that would take them. By the time everyone was out it looked like a tornado had swept through the lobby.

One recruiter tried to grab an activist but found himself overpowered by SDS's superior strength and numbers and had no choice but to give up!

This came on the heels of the whole group marching in K st and Connecticut Ave at the height of rush hour, closing War Profiteer's Row to cars fro quite a while. The group closed out by going after DC GOP headquarters, but that door was locked and there were too many cops around to break it down. [Emphasis mine]

And what does the "PEACE" movement thing of all this violence? They love it!

Some comments left on the post show how violent the peace movement really is...

So for all of you naysayers: Where where you last night??? SDS went a trashed a recruiting station what did you do?

For SdS: Awesome action, I must say it got escalated and it was pretty rad, a bunch of students who actually give a shit about something going and doing what was right to the government or should I say taxpayer funded offices of child predators in army costumes or as some might know them military recruiters! I hope SdS does more stuff like this in the future or even better stuff.

Hopefully those dumbass recruiters will get ready to leave, after a smashed window in '07 and a trashed inside in '08 (and hopefully many more trashings) If they don't a nice friendly warning: Pack up your crap and leave and there will be no problems but if you stay know this people don't like you they don't want you in their communities and they will make sure you leave one way or another!

That's the spirit! It's good that folks are starting to really confront the problem. Cheers.
But all hope is not lost the Freepers know and are also commenting and pointing out how violent the peace movement really is. Thanks to their own actions we can identify the vandals, but the question remains...why aren't the organizers and participants being charged by D.C. Police?

Chief Lanier are you going to take action against the officers who stood idly by and allowed a federal facility to be vandalized? Are you going to investigate this crime and arrest the culprits who conveniently have provided you with their photographs and audio of their vandalism of federal property?

Mayor Fenty are you going to stand by and allow violent elements of the city control the city or are you going to stand up and follow through?

The vandals actions were criminal but the police departments actions were unforgivable!
