A Change in Iraq?

I noticed it yesterday afternoon with this post. It occurred today with this post. Did you catch it?

Here are the titles again to make it a little easier:
Eight Terrorists Killed, Six Supects Detained in Raids
Three Terrorists Killed, 16 Others Detained in Operations
Do you see it? That term is not one of my doing but the doing of someone at MNF-Iraq. Finally the enemy is no longer called by the pc term insurgent, but rather: terrorist! Finally they are being called what they are, terrorists for they seek only to terrorize the countryside and bring the inhabitants under their control, insurgents do not murder the very people they claim to be saving and protecting, terrorists do!

Is this a doing of General Petraeus or has someone at MNF-Iraq finally gotten their head out of their fourth point of contact? The information war is as important as the shooting war, to use politically correct terms to describe the enemy only lends credibility to their actins and cause. They are not insurgents, they are terrorists plain and simple.

We can only hope that this common sense approach to naming the terrorists will continue.
