PAO BAQOUBA, Iraq – Iraqi Security Forces and Coalition Forces discovered an al-Qaida safe house, north of the capital of Diyala province, early this week.
Iraqi Army soldiers and CF Soldiers from Company C, 1st Battalion, 12th Infantry Regiment, found the building while conducting operations north of Baqouba. Inside, the patrol found medical supplies, medical equipment and al-Qaida related propaganda.
Also inside the building was a room with indicators that it had been used as a place of torture, such as blood on the walls and blacked out windows.
One person was detained near the building after locals identified him as being an insurgent.
Notice that last line..."One person was detained near the building after locals identified him as being an insurgent." Its the acts of depravity by Micahel moore's freedom fighters that made the locals turn against the enemy and begin working together with the US and Coalitin forces in the area to rout out Al-Qaeda.
Each dy news reports just like this are coming out of Iraq and still the Western Media and leadership in Washington ignore them. Which forces us to ask the question, are they scared of success in Iraq and are the attempting to subvert the success of Iraq by calling for a withdrawl even before the reports are finihsed in September.
It makes a thinking man wonder...
