Wreaths Across America

We've all seen the picture of thousands of wreaths placed at the foot of the tombstones in Arlington National Cemetary...

Now meet the man behind the mission Merrill Worchester owner of the Worcester Wreath Company of Harrington, Maine. Click on the link below to hear him as he is interviewed by Andrea Shea-King as she prepares to attend and participate in the wreath laying for her first time on December 15, 2007.

Special memorial wreaths will also be placed at the graves of former Maine Senator and Secretary of State Edmund Muskie, the Kennedy Family Memorials; the Mast of the Battleship U.S.S. Maine, culminating with a special wreath laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers at Noon.

All volunteers are encouraged to attend any or all of these special ceremonies, especially at the Tomb of the Unknowns. For a complete schedule of events go to wreathsacrossamerica.org, click under “Locations” then click on Arlington Cemetery.
