A short recon of what’s out there that might draw your attention.

Ian of Expose The Left has Allen Faces Off With Civil Rights Attorney and Uber-Liberal Michael Gross (VIDEO) ‘“Civil rights” Attorney Michael Gross, who has that Alan Colmes eyebrow thing going on, and Sean Allen, the student who exposed his anti-American teacher Jay Bennish, appeared on Hannity & Colmes tonight to battle it out. The segment was originally about how liberals have bashed Allen for reasons not pertaining to the incident and the outcome of those attacks. It only took 3 minutes for a Nazi reference to come up. How ironic Gross should make one in a situation like this:”

Crazy Politico of Crazy Politico’s Rantings has Since We Are Worried About Ports “Since we are all worried about the ports deal, and it's security implications, check out today's New York Times article on driver background checks at the NY/NJ port complex. It seems the Port Authority, according to the Times article, has been issuing SeaLink cards, which give access to the complex to drivers without subjecting them to a criminal check.”

t.f.boggs writes The Future of Iraq “After spending a deployment and a half in Iraq I have come to a conclusion about the future of Iraq. Many people speculate whether or not Iraq even has a chance to survive the current turmoil and become a full-fledged democracy. People often say that a democracy will not work in a predominately Muslim nation. People say that civil war in Iraq is inevitable. Well people say a lot of things, and just because they do so doesn’t mean that what they say is going to come to pass.”

Capt B of One Marine’s View writes IM HOME! “America, this place is awesome and now I see fist hand what we have been fighting for. The trek home was a beast. It took about 4 days to get home with a fun 14 hour flight going through Ireland.”

Blackfive writes The Saint In The Tank “...There are about 120,000 Holocaust survivors who live in the U.S. As they get older, like the men who fought in WWII and liberated them, their numbers are dwindling. Several Holocaust survivors have set out to find their liberators, soldiers that they never had the opportunity to thank for saving their lives. The survivors of the Ebensee concentration camp in Austria found the commander of "The Lucky Lady", the tank that crashed the gates and saved them...”

Soldiers’ Angels Germany writes Perhaps Cindy Does Have Some Shame... “Or maybe she's just beginning to think the whole thing was a bad idea. First she backed down on the visit to Landstuhl hospital, now she's using her recent arrest and "brutalization" by the NYPD as an excuse not to participate in the protest at Ramstein on Saturday.”
